Konanakunte is a well-settled area in South Bangalore. It lies on Kanakapura Road and has the PIN code 560062. JP Nagar, Banashankari, Doddakallasandra and Anjanapura are nearby. The area has its own Green Line metro stop. It also has Forum South Bengaluru and access to NICE Road. In 2026, online market data places local home rates near ₹12,250 per sq. ft.

Prestige Falcon City Luxe is the key upcoming project linked with Konanakunte. Early plans show 2, 3 and 4 BHK homes from 1,204 to 2,726 sq. ft. Prices may start near ₹1.40 crore. The expected launch date is 15 September 2026, subject to approvals. The project is still awaiting its own Karnataka RERA number. It is planned near the completed Prestige Falcon City, Forum South Bengaluru and Konanakunte Cross Metro Station.

Konanakunte sits on the south side of Bengaluru. Kanakapura Main Road is its main link. The road runs north towards Banashankari and Jayanagar. It runs south towards Talaghattapura, Kaggalipura and Kanakapura.

JP Nagar lies to the east. Anjanapura and Doddakallasandra are also close. NICE Road can be reached from this belt. It helps with trips towards Mysore Road, Bannerghatta Road and Electronic City.

Kanakapura Road carries most local traffic. BMTC and private buses also run along this road. In March 2026, BMTC began a premium AC service from Banashankari to Kanakapura. It stops at Konanakunte Cross, Talaghattapura and Silk Institute.

Traffic is often slow at key junctions. The metro and Forum South can add to the rush. Buyers should test their office route on a normal workday. A calm Sunday drive will not show the real travel time.

Konanakunte has ready, resale and upcoming homes. Buyers can find 1, 2, 3 and 4 BHK apartments across the locality and the wider Kanakapura Road belt. Large gated projects, small apartment blocks and independent homes are all part of the market.

Ready homes suit people who need to move soon. Buyers can inspect the apartment, tower, lift and open space before payment. New projects give more choice in floor and view, but they need a longer wait. The total cost may also include parking, taxes, registration and other fees.

Prestige Falcon City has already made Konanakunte a known apartment market. It is a large, occupied township with 2, 2.5, 3 and 4 BHK homes. Its location beside the metro gives residents a useful public travel option.

Forum South Bengaluru is near Konanakunte Cross Metro Station. It has fashion stores, restaurants, films and family activities. Its official page lists more than 45 food and drink outlets and a 55,000 sq. ft. family entertainment centre.

Cloudnine Hospital is on Kanakapura Road at Doddakallasandra. It offers maternity, gynaecology, fertility, child care and newborn care. The centre also has NICU beds and operation theatres.

DHEE Hospitals is another multispeciality option on the same corridor. Larger hospitals are also found towards Banashankari and JP Nagar. Families should save one quick hospital route and one backup route.

The Kanakapura Road high-density corridor project covers an eight-kilometre stretch from Banashankari to Silk Institute. The work includes road upgrades, better footpaths and cycle space.

Reports in 2026 found mixed progress. Some parts had improved, while other areas still had debris, broken paths and poor upkeep. Buyers should inspect the exact road outside a project. A site visit after rain can also show drainage and access problems.

Traffic can be heavy near the metro and mall. Some inner roads are narrow. Water supply, drainage and parking may also vary from one project to another.

Buyers should check the number of lifts, homes per floor and monthly fees. For Prestige Falcon City Luxe, they must confirm the separate RERA number. The registration of the completed Falcon City phase should not be used as approval for the new Luxe phase.
